Do I need a license to drive a motorbike?
Yes! In compliance with local Vietnam laws, as well as insurance, we require all participants to carry a valid International Drivers License. In Vietnam, ONLY International Drivers Licenses issued under the 1968 Vienna Convention are valid. Unfortunately, Vietnam does not recognize licenses issued under the 1949 Convention. Please check that your license is issued under the correct convention. If you do not hold the proper licensing, we would be happy to set you up with an Easy Rider (local driver) on one of our other tour options. How difficult are the off-road tours?
The off-road tours are designed for riders with experience operating a dirt bike or a motorbike off-road. The journey entails driving on narrow buffalo trails and rocky paths. If you are not an experienced rider but would like to drive yourself, please explore our regular tour options and we would be happy to have you join us!
Can I have an Easy Rider?
Yes, absolutely! Please select one of our regular tour options and we would be happy to set you up with a local Easy Rider for a comfortable and worry-free journey!
